- Handle a diverse portfolio of disputes, including crime, financial and regulatory.
- Provide clear, concise and practical legal advice to clients.
- Manage relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for handling disputes.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and professional standards.
- Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing activities.
Profile
A successful Disputes Associate should have:
- A degree in law from a recognised university.
- 1-5PQE.
- Qualified Solicitor OR Barrister in England & Wales.
- Experience in handling complex disputes in the professional services industry.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong client management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and professional standards.
