Are you passionate about shaping young lives and supporting positive behavioural change in students? Do you have experience in helping to manage and guide student behaviour within a secondary school? We are representing a highly regarded secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea, London, and are searching for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join the team. If you have the expertise to promote positive behaviour and contribute to a nurturing school environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce and uphold the school's behaviour policies consistently.
  • Work directly with students to understand and address any behavioural challenges.
  • Offer one-to-one or small group mentoring, focusing on social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to implement personalised behaviour strategies.
  • Play a role in creating initiatives to improve the overall atmosphere within the school.
  • Keep accurate records of behaviour incidents and the interventions used, utilizing the school MIS.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a related role.
  • Strong grasp of effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with students and support their learning journey.
  • A proactive, solutions-based approach to behavioural challenges.
  • Knowledge of the UK school system is a plus.
