We are representing a highly regarded secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea, London, and are searching for a committed Behaviour Mentor to join the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce and uphold the school's behaviour policies consistently.
- Work directly with students to understand and address any behavioural challenges.
- Offer one-to-one or small group mentoring, focusing on social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to implement personalised behaviour strategies.
- Play a role in creating initiatives to improve the overall atmosphere within the school.
- Keep accurate records of behaviour incidents and the interventions used, utilizing the school MIS.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a related role.
- Strong grasp of effective behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with students and support their learning journey.
- A proactive, solutions-based approach to behavioural challenges.
- Knowledge of the UK school system is a plus.
