Behaviour Mentor - Islington

Are you looking for a new role working in a Pupil Referral Unit as a Behaviour Mentor in Islington? If so, this may be the perfect role for you!

I am currently working alongside an Pupil Referral Unit based in Islington looking to appoint an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to work with students with Autism and SEMH.

The position is based in Islington and will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to go permanent at the end of the academic year. The position is between £90 to £100 daily depending on your experience.

About the school:

  • Secondary PRU for 11 to 16 years old
  • Nurturing environment with tailored education

  • Focused on student confidence, skills, and inclusivity
  • Training and regular CPD’s provided by the school

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working across secondary in either KS3 or KS4
  • Comfortable supporting students with Autism and SEMH
  • Confident dealing with challenging behaviours
  • Can work from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
  • Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
