GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Pastoral Learning Mentor to join a thriving secondary school in Greenwich. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive and supportive environment where students can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

• Student Wellbeing: Provide guidance and emotional support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
• Behavior Management: Promote positive behavior, ensuring students adhere to school policies and values.
• Attendance Support: Monitor and encourage excellent attendance and punctuality among students.
• Parent and Staff Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and support staff to address student needs.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of interactions and interventions, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young people in a firm but empathetic manner.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• A commitment to fostering equality and promoting the school’s values.
• Relevant experience in a similar role or working with young people is highly desirable.
• Flexibility and resilience to work in a dynamic school environment.
