Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a passion for conveyancing? Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting our fee earners, ensuring they can focus on what they do best.

In this client-facing role, you’ll manage day-to-day administrative tasks and handle sensitive interactions with discretion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support, including audio typing and sending correspondence.
  • Managing client files from opening to closure, including Anti-Money Laundering checks.
  • Preparing and submitting applications like SDLT, AP1, and FR1 to the Land Registry online portal.
  • Utilising conveyancing panel portals such as LMS and Lender Exchange.
  • Assisting in the billing process by preparing bills and liaising with the fee earner and accounts department.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within conveyancing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in handling administrative duties and familiarity with legal documentation processes.
  • Experience with legal software and platforms, such as the Land Registry online portal, LMS, and Lender Exchange.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
