Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with a passion for conveyancing? Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting our fee earners, ensuring they can focus on what they do best.
In this client-facing role, you’ll manage day-to-day administrative tasks and handle sensitive interactions with discretion. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support, including audio typing and sending correspondence.
- Managing client files from opening to closure, including Anti-Money Laundering checks.
- Preparing and submitting applications like SDLT, AP1, and FR1 to the Land Registry online portal.
- Utilising conveyancing panel portals such as LMS and Lender Exchange.
- Assisting in the billing process by preparing bills and liaising with the fee earner and accounts department.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within conveyancing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in handling administrative duties and familiarity with legal documentation processes.
- Experience with legal software and platforms, such as the Land Registry online portal, LMS, and Lender Exchange.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
