An award-winning probate and genealogy firm based in Old Street is seeking a legal administrator paying up to £27,532 plus benefits, to join their rapidly growing team.
This role will sit within the International Asset Service team which will assist with the research, administration and the release of assets from overseas, working closely with executors of estates and probate solicitors. This may include things like, stocks and shares, property, bank accounts as well as any other financial assets.
Initially this role will be 5 days in the office, but after the 6 month probation, a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office 2 days at home will be available.
Duties include the following:
- Assisting with the International Asset Services Manager's correspondence with
- overseas agents and institutions
- Managing all aspects of Medallion Guarantee stamp applications
- Developing an understanding of the services offered by the department
- Providing telephone and email support for clients' enquiries, build trusted advisor relationships with brokers and foreign lawyers
- Supporting the department by carrying out regular reviews of enquiries and ongoing cases
- Preparation of quotations for clients
- General administration, including letter writing, scanning, copying and filing
- Making occasional travel arrangements for the International Asset Services Manager
- Research online as required
The ideal candidate will have some administrative experience and will be looking to take up a new position with legal leanings. You will have a real can-do attitude, be determined in nature, well a be a real problem solver where you will think out of the box to get the job done. A high level of attention to detail is a must as well as being process driven. You will enjoy giving a great customer service as well as speaking to people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
