Role Overview: Seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our Residential Real Estate team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors in the Residential Real Estate team.
  • Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Manage and organise client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurately filed.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and property viewings.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate property transactions.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in residential real estate.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
