As a Commercial Conveyancing Paralegal, you'll handle a variety of transactions, from sales and purchases to re-mortgages and transfers of equity. You'll work closely with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders, ensuring smooth and timely transactions. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
  • Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Handle basic queries and general administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.
