Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor
  • Job Type: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Are you an experienced solicitor with a passion for commercial property law?

As a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, you'll manage diverse tasks, from drafting leases and handling site acquisitions to managing complex financing arrangements. You'll be part of a respected law firm that values quality and teamwork, offering a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Act for landlords with large portfolios and tenants, primarily small to medium-sized local businesses, in matters including:
    • Drafting and granting leases, rent deposit deeds, licenses to alter, and agreements for lease.
    • Handling variations to existing leases and licenses to alter.
  • Represent developers in tasks such as:
    • Site acquisitions and disposals, including preparation of reports on title.
    • Managing conditional purchase agreements, options, land promotion agreements, overage agreements, and joint venture agreements.
    • Granting easements and dealing with construction-related legal documents like reliance letters and collateral warranties.
  • Work with developers and lenders on refinancing and financing arrangements, including:
    • Reviewing facility agreements and finance documents.
    • Preparing certificates of title in City of London form and drafting corporate minutes, resolutions, and certificates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, particularly in commercial property law.
  • Strong ability to handle a variety of legal tasks from lease drafting to complex financing arrangements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and logical thinking.
  • Proactive and confident in your legal expertise.
  • Good sense of humour and ability to fit well within a team-oriented workplace environment.
