Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and review of financial documents, including loan agreements, securities filings, and corporate resolutions.
- Conduct legal research on finance-related matters and provide summaries and reports.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Support the due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the finance sector.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or financial setting.
- Strong understanding of finance and corporate law.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
