Your new role Within this organisation, the legal team plays a crucial role in providing support for various legal matters. The paralegal position involves conducting legal research, assisting lawyers with legal advice, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include analysing case law, drafting legal memos, and supporting the development of junior team members.Ideal candidates for this role possess strong legal research skills, practical experience in relevant legal areas, and excellent communication abilities. They should also have a keen interest in public law and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What you'll need to succeed
- A legal degree or equivalent conversion course is key to this role.
- Having completed relevant postgraduate legal training e.g. a legal practice course is desired.
- Strong legal research skills and experience in relevant practice areas.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a keen interest in public law.
