Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard who preferably has experience of life guarding, excellent customer care skills and is a professional and strong team player is required to work on the Weekends for a well-established and prestigious private members club based in South West London.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED UPON JOINING AND ON AN ONGOING BASIS

An NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) would be beneficial, but is not essential as a training course can be provided for suitable candidates not qualified

SALARY: £27,350 FTE / Actual Salary £10,940 (based on 16 hours per week) + Benefits

LOCATION: South West London (SW15)- candidates will ideally benefit from living in close proximity to the club

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Weekends Only - 16 hours per week worked 8 hours on a Saturday and 8 hours on a Sunday, plus overtime if available

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard who preferably has experience of life guarding, excellent customer care skills and is a professional and strong team player.

The Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard will be required to fulfil a variety of roles within the facility throughout the working day.

As the Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard you will have the opportunity to deliver great service and as such you must be polite, professional, enthusiastic and vigilant at all times to provide a safe environment for both members and guests.

DUTIES

Key responsibilities of the Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard will include:

  • Deliver a friendly welcome for all members and their guests upon entering the Health Club
  • Assist all members who have queries complaints or require information, in a polite, friendly and helpful manner
  • Lifeguard the pool/s when required
  • Assist and supervise members and their guests in their use of the facilities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Ensure members, guests and staff, observe club rules and enforce them where necessary
  • Maintain NPLQ qualification and attend monthly training sessions
  • Set up and dismantle equipment as determined by the programme, in a proper and safe manner
  • Administer first aid where suitably qualified, in accordance with Company procedures
  • Comply with all operating procedures of the club and company
  • Maintain a professional attitude and ensure operational procedures are adhered to
