Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the management and administration of construction works in line with council contracts.
- Implementing construction phase plans, ensuring compliance with quality plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Monitoring site operations, ensuring health and safety adherence, and conducting regular checks.
- Liaising with contractors regarding network occupancy conditions and temporary traffic management.
- Recording all works performed and issuing necessary instructions to contractors.
- Managing measurements and identifying snagging and defects for correction within the agreed period.
- Collaborating with engineering staff to maintain high professional technical standards.
- Assisting in the planning, programming, and delivery of assigned projects.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in supervising highway and traffic management works.
- Working knowledge of traffic management and public safety legislation, along with statutory duties and practices.
- Detailed technical expertise in the implementation and supervision of traffic engineering schemes.
- Familiarity with construction phase plans and quality assurance methods.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with contractors and stakeholders.
- Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
