Are you an experienced Fleet Administrator looking to work for a fast growing Logistics company? 

Our client are a rapidly expanding company dedicated to providing flexible and cost-effective supply chain services and are on their way to becoming the UK’s leading contract logistics business. As part of their growth plans, they are recruiting for a Fleet Administrator to join their expanding team.  This role is crucial in supporting fleet operations for over 385 vehicles and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

This role is being offered on a full time, temp to perm basis and is 100% office based. The permanent salary is £30k per annum. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Respond to driver breakdowns in a timely manner. 
  • Report on vehicle activity, including daily driver statistics and fuel usage.
  • Manage the on-hire and off-hire reports for all vehicles.
  • Ensure all vans are serviced and repaired by our approved network.
  • Analyse telematic reports to optimise fleet performance.
  • Manage Insurance MID and accident documents, including arranging accident recovery and repairs.
  • Ensure all vehicles are registered for tolls and manage arrangements for short-term hire vehicles.
  • Handle speeding and parking fines efficiently.
  • Communicate with Contract Managers on issues arising and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a commercial fleet environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills within a reactive work environment.
  • Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective processes and systems within the fleet department.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
