Graduate Supply Chain Executive

London £25,000 - £30,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Supply Chain Executive to join our dynamic FMCG client. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers, supporting demand planning, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including buying, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Monitor stock levels, analyse sales data, and provide insights to optimise inventory and reduce waste.
  • Support demand planning and forecasting by interpreting historical trends and market insights.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries, resolving any supply chain disruptions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.

About You

Essential:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn.

Desirable:

  • Previous internship or work experience in a supply chain, logistics, or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Understanding of sustainability and ethical sourcing in supply chain management.
