Our client, a leading organisation within the healthcare sector, is seeking an experienced Head Of Procurement to join their growing division. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in delivering best-in-class procurement solutions across a diverse portfolio, including Indirects, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) and Medical Capital Equipment.
The Role
As Head Of Procurement, you will:
- Lead sourcing strategies and contract negotiations to ensure industry-leading pricing and terms.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Drive procurement initiatives that enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.
- Provide category expertise and market insight to inform sourcing decisions.
- Support and develop a high-performing team, acting as a mentor and leader.
We are looking for candidates with:
- 5+ years of procurement experience, with a strong track record in strategic sourcing and category management.
- Expertise in negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
- Line management experience and the ability to develop and lead a team.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Indirects or Capital Procurement.
Desirable:
Healthcare sector experience.
