We are looking for a skilled Senior Demand Planner to help optimise our supply chain, meet customer needs, and support our growth goals.

Role Summary

The Senior Demand Planner will play a critical role in managing demand and supply planning, ensuring optimal stock levels across multiple European markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in e-commerce within durable consumer goods, specifically with Amazon's 1P program, and has managed Pan-European responsibilities. We seek someone hands-on, ideally from a smaller business environment, with strong forecasting, inventory management, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts to align with sales and promotional plans.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to obtain and implement quarterly promotional plans within demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, highlight potential stock outages, and ensure non-promoted SKUs are managed accordingly.
  • Lead dropship demand planning activities, including forecasting and stock ordering.
  1. Inventory Management & Stock Optimisation
  • Optimize container usage for cost efficiency and ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
  • Monitor and report on inventory health, providing SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete stock) listings to Sales Managers to support their KPIs.
  • Maintain stock-on-hand KPIs, manage goods receipt notes (GRNs), and provide ongoing dashboard reporting for clear visibility of stock levels and status.
  1. Product & Data Management
  • Oversee new product data sourcing and ensure accurate updates to master data in Power BI and in 3PL systems.
  • Work with the logistics team to manage incoming stock and advise on container unloading KPIs.
  • Ensure optimal packaging size for cost and storage efficiency.
  1. Collaboration & Coordination
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers (3) and the logistics team to ensure timely stock flow and alignment on demand plans.
  • Address any product-related issues with suppliers and manage credits with suppliers in China where applicable.
  • Support direct import planning activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy and stock availability.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Demand Planner within an e-commerce business, preferably in durable consumer goods.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon 1P and experience managing demand planning across multiple EU markets.
  • Proficiency in demand planning and inventory tools, including IIBP (Integrated Business Planning) and Power BI.
  • Hands-on, self-sufficient approach with a background in smaller business settings where end-to-end ownership of tasks is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams.
