Stark Building Materials UK is recruiting now for a Senior Fleet Administrator, hybrid working 3 days per week from Southampton.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm.

Job Purpose

The Senior Administrator will provide administrative and operational support associated to the provision and use of Commercial Vehicles and Materials Handling Equipment throughout Stark in the UK.

Key Results Areas

You will be required to:

  • Raise Purchase Orders within approved limits
  • Support the team to achieve statutory fleet compliance
  • Accurately maintain supply chain information against new asset orders
  • Accurately maintain the Fleet database and all other relevant electronic records
  • Manage enquiries from our 'customers' and seek suitable resolutions where problems exist
  • Follow functional procedures accurately and identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist in the production of fleet Key Performance Indicators and understand how to positively affect outcomes/results

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required

Essential

  • Exceptional customer service and effective communication, both written & verbal
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as well as being a team player
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Flexible, with an ability to deal with high volumes
  • Experience with MS Office must be comfortable with Excel spreadsheets (in particular pivot tables and vlookup)
  • Understanding the importance of handling confidential/sensitive/legal information
  • Willingness to learn and a desire to progress

  • Interest in / knowledge of vehicle maintenance, legal compliance, road transport law

  • SQL / Crystal / Excel reporting
