Job description

路聽Ensure that key workers and RCW鈥檚 have implemented, updated and adhered to all child and young person鈥檚 plans that are in place (where appropriate)

路聽Provide a positive mentor to the staff team and to work professionally, positively and enthusiastically always

路聽Liaise where appropriate with relatives, significant others and professionals in a professionals and timely manner.

Staff

路聽To accept and participate in monthly supervision with Home Manager

路聽To deliver monthly supervision to the Support Workers as per instruction

路聽Lead and manage the staff team on duty to ensure professionalism always and working In line with Company policy and procedure

路聽Oversee the organisation/delegation of the shift plan/tasks for the day

路聽Report promptly any issues that arise to the relevant/appropriate person, follow up this action to ensure completion

路聽Support staff and ensure their wellbeing and safety always

路聽Supervise where appropriate a full handover at the end of every shift and a full de-brief at the end of every shift

路聽Monitor internal processes to ensure they remain relevant and effective

路聽Issue money where required and ensure that effective management of funds is completed daily, carried over and returns are completed in line with internal procedure

路聽Ensure that staffing levels remain safe and consistent and that deficiencies are addressed immediately and the appropriate person notified

路聽Assist in ongoing development and training of the staffing team

路聽Delegate tasks where appropriate and ensure the completion of these

路聽Attend/chair as per instruction meetings and reviews

路聽Complete annual appraisal of the Senior and care team, return to work interview and probation meetings/induction workbooks

General

路聽Ensure that budgets are adhered to and maintained appropriately

路聽Be vigilant in exercising health and safety and report issues promptly and/or remedy them

路聽Report incident/issues that have arisen during the day promptly to senior management

路聽Always work in line with Company Policy and Procedure with attention to Safeguarding children and young people, Child protection, Whistle blowing and complaints

路聽Work to achieve quality standards as set out by the Regulatory body.

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • children's residential providing care: 2 years (preferred)
  • supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 3Health & Social Care (required)
  • Driving Licence (required)
