What is expected of you?

  • Operational responsibility for the end-to-end supply planning function
  • End to end inventory and production planning control & supply chain optimisation
  • Manage all short-term production planning working very closely with a growing international supplier list
  • Run and manage short-term / mid-term supply and production plans.
  • Management of suppliers & Freight forwarders to ensure optimum performance
  • 3PL warehouse / Logistics management - monitor KPI / Performance levels
  • Responsible for supply data input, analysis and management
  • Resolve all supplier issues, price discrepancies and ensure a positive working relationship
  • Stock replenishment, management & reconciliation
  • Warehouse & Freight cost negotiation and management

As a successful SME going through sustained growth, it is essential that the Supply Chain Planner is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -

  • 3 + years of supply chain planning OR production planning experience
  • Passionate and experienced stock / inventory professional with experience of managing complex supplier relationships
  • Supply specialist capable of managing all operational planning duties autonomously
  • Experience of working autonomously and able to meet and exceed targets
  • Experience of supplier performance management, cost management & reporting
  • Flexible individual able of managing end to end supply chain projects
  • Ideally you have experience of working within a start-up or fast growth SME
  • Superb communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hugely proactive individual, able to think outside the box under pressure
  • Excellent number cruncher and solid experience with Excel & ERP systems
