Pod Talent is thrilled to partner with a fast-growing, ambitious logistics company that is truly committed to sustainability and they are looking for a Transport Operations Supervisor to join their team in London (4 days on 4 days off shift).

In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for drivers, utilising your leadership, problem-solving, and operational skills; you’ll work closely with the warehouse team and delivery service providers as well as overseeing daily operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role:

You will…

  • Manage and develop a team of Operations Associates, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure all deliveries are executed efficiently, proactively addressing any disruptions
  • Provide real-time guidance and escalate issues to ensure drivers have the necessary resources for smooth deliveries
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimise operational efficiency

About you:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within either operations, retail, hospitality or a similar environment
  • Communicate clearly with different stakeholders and be able to multitask
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and handling pressure effectively
  • Skilled at identifying issues and implementing solutions in high-pressure situations
