Are you passionate about fine art, luxury interiors, and warehouse management? Our client is a fast-growing, family-run company specializing in fine art handling, interior design installations, international shipping, and custom crating.

With a prestigious client base and a reputation for excellence, they are expanding their team in West London and seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee specialist operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled warehouse professional, particularly someone with experience handling fragile, high-value items such as artwork, sculptures, and designer furniture.

The successful candidate will lead a team, implement best practices for safe handling, and ensure inventory is expertly managed, stored, and delivered in pristine condition. Working closely with logistics, sales, and customer service teams, you will be a key player in maintaining the highest industry standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, storage, and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all items are properly catalogued and tracked using a warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement best practices for the safe handling and storage of fragile and high-value items, including artwork, sculptures, and luxury furniture.
  • Coordinate the timely and secure delivery of items to clients, ensuring careful packing and shipping.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing training and guidance on handling techniques, safety, and inventory processes.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding the storage and transportation of delicate items.
  • Conduct quality control checks on received goods and oversee any necessary repackaging or repairs.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring all tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts, packaging materials) are in proper working condition.
  • Engage with clients when necessary to oversee deliveries, installations, or damage claims.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience in warehouse management, ideally within art handling, luxury interiors, or high-end furniture logistics.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and stock control procedures.
  • Experience handling fragile or high-value items, with a knowledge of best practices for storage and transportation.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and training warehouse teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly regarding logistics and inventory challenges.
  • Forklift certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients regarding deliveries, installations, and claims.
