ENERGY LOSS ADJUSTER
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to act as a Loss/Claims Adjuster on complex energy claims in the renewables sectors. The work will involve establishing the circumstances and causes of a loss as well as the merits and costs of the remedial and repair actions taken and then judging the merits of the claim against the relevant insurance policy.You will also be expected to participate in business development activities within the London insurance market. The role will be based in the London office but will involve frequent international travel
The Role
You should:
Hold a degree-level technical qualification and/or have relevant experience in engineering or claims work;
Have good communication and presentation skills, alongside an ability to translate technically complex material into understandable reports and presentations to non-experts.
Be inquisitive, self-starting and dynamic, whilst also able to act as a team player willing to operate beyond the confines of their own role at times;
Be willing to travel internationally
Have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
Main Duties
You will lead on the handling and adjustment of claims in the renewables energy sectors.
You will be expected to deliver your analysis in both written reports and presentations to clients.
