As a Maintenance Engineer, youll collaborate closely with our production, operations, and quality teams to provide vital engineering services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


Equipment Maintenance: Youll ensure all plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and keeping everything running smoothly.

Rapid Response: When machinery breaks down, youll be the first to respond, swiftly minimizing lost time and logging downtime for continuous improvement.

Fault-Finding & Fixing: Your expertise in diagnosing and fixing faults will be essential to maintaining our production lines. When necessary, youll escalate issues for additional support.

Planned Maintenance: Youll perform scheduled maintenance tasks, inspecting key machinery components for wear and recording any corrective actions needed.

Engineering Best Practices: Adhering to industry best practices, youll help reduce the risk of product contamination and maintain a safe working environment.

Contractor Supervision: Youll assist in overseeing contractors on-site, ensuring their work meets our high standards.

Cross-Department Communication: Clear communication with management and other departments will be key to ensuring everyone is aligned on engineering activities.

Safety First: Youll champion Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures, promoting a culture of safety across the site.

Resource Management: Efficient use of spare parts and consumables will be part of your role, ensuring were always well-stocked.

Project Assistance: Youll assist with site projects and installations, bringing flexibility and a can-do attitude to meet the businesss evolving needs.

Energy Efficiency: Youll contribute ideas and actions to help reduce energy consumption and waste, supporting our commitment to sustainability.

Housekeeping: A clean as you go mentality will keep our engineering areas tidy and well-organized.

Team Collaboration: Youll work closely with a small, dedicated team to ensure smooth operation across a couple of production lines.
