Resourcing Group currently have a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the UK's leading FM providers to carry out building maintenance on a large static site in West London. Job details:

  • Permanent
  • Full time- days (8am- 5pm)
  • Salary- Up to 46k PA
  • Located- West London based

Must hold:

  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, ideally in commercial environments

Day to day duties:

  • Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
  • Performing planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on commercial properties
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults and issues
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
  • Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment.
  • Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
  • Report any defects at time of service visit.
  • Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
