Senior Engineering Manager
Hands On | Node.js | SaaS | London 2 days pw | Up to £116k + bonus
Our SaaS client is seeking a hands on Engineering Manager to drive the delivery of high-quality software working with Node.js, whilst empowering the wider engineering function within the organisation. You will report directly into the Director of Engineering and have 3-4 Tech Leads reporting into you who manage small engineering teams.
You will have experience working in a JavaScript / TypeScript ecosystem using Node.JS and you might currently work as an experienced Technical Lead, Architect or a hands on manager. The successful candidate will have experience of line managing other managers / leads and still be hands-on with Node.js. Your role will be split approximately 30% hands on development, 70% hands off management.
You will guide and lead a team of technical leads who are responsible for building out the companys core platform.
Senior Engineering Manager Requirements
- Experience in enterprise software development, global reach, and distributed teams.
- Still hands on and passionate about architecture and clean code. You will have strong experience operating in a JavaScript / TypeScript ecosystem. They use Node.js and React.
- Extensive Node.js experience
- Experience building cloud native platforms. They use AWS
- Experience leading / managing other technical leads or engineering managers.
