An exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to work for a leading FM service provider in the City of London. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider on a renowned contract, the Shift Leader will work a Continental Shift managing a team of Shift Engineers carrying planned and reactive maintenance within a high profile commercial environment.

The Electrically biased leader will hold a proven career history within building services maintenance, with the ability to lead a team to successfully deliver contractually required levels of service delivery.

Duties:

  • Completing logbooks and RAMS

  • Reports

  • Attending client meetings

  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.

  • Permits to work

  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.

  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.

  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.

  • Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across HV and LV systems, UPS, Generators, associated plant and equipment, HVAC cooling / heating systems covering CRAC units.

  • Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification

  • HV Authorised Person (In Date)

  • Critical site experience preferable (Data Centre or Banking Sites)

  • Client Management

  • Ability to manage a team

  • Building Services Maintenance experience
