Administration Assistant- City - £24,500

Hybrid working, 09:30-17:30 (occasional 11:00-19:00)

Wise May are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our client, a personable and progressive law firm based in the City. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team who reward hard work.

The Administrative Assistant will perform all manner of administrative and file management operations requested by Lawyers, Legal Assistants and other support functions both under the direct supervision of the Legal Support Manager and working independently.

Duties to include:

  • File opening/closing
  • Archive management
  • General administrative requests e.g. photocopying, scanning, filing
  • Producing and amending correspondence, documents, reports
  • Audio dictation
  • Managing and processing expenses
  • Assisting in the billing process
  • Prioritising workloads ensuring deadlines are met.

Skills:

  • CILEx Secretarial Qualification
  • Accurate typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Well presented with excellent communication skills
  • Highly literate and numerate with strong customer service skills
  • Capable of taking initiative and developing solutions to any issues encountered, liaising with colleagues as necessary
  • Flexible and enthusiastic self-starter
  • Able to work alone as well as within a team
  • Attention to detail, ability to retain high concentration levels for extended periods of time
