Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join the team for an iconic luxury hotel refurbishment project in West London. This role will focus specifically on managing and driving the refurbishment of back-of-house areas, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Manager / Project Director in coordinating and executing refurbishment activities in designated back-of-house areas.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure timely progression of work and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure that all work meets the expectations of a luxury hotel environment.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and quality of work, providing feedback and guidance as necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports on progress, schedules, and budgets.
- Foster a positive working environment and build strong relationships with contractors and team members.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in assistant project management, preferably in the hospitality or luxury refurbishment sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and contractor management.
