Role Overview

A full-time role has become available within the commercial property research department at Savills, a leading global real estate provider, which will be based at their head office at 33 Margaret Street, London, W1. The Savills research team provides advice and analysis to clients across all sectors of the property market. 

The geographical coverage spreads from Central London to all markets in the UK and also includes the key markets across Europe. Our established research team has a strong reputation for producing accurate, well-informed and, above all else, independent analysis and commentary. 

The role involves collecting and analysing data on key office markets. Data is collected from a number of sources, checked and entered into an in-house database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and analysing data on the Greater London & South East office markets.Supporting other analysts in the offices research team.
  • Writing market reports and carrying out analyses of the data for individuals throughout Savills and for our clients.
  • The individual will also support the day-to-day business of the Research department and the National Office Agency leasing and Investment teams.

Key Skills

  • The ability to draw conclusions from the analysis of data and articulate them in an accessible manner.
  • Degree qualified preferred.
  • Must have an aptitude for quantitative techniques and an analytical approach to completing tasks.
  • Previous experience in commercial property research would be welcome, but is not essential.
  • IT literate with a proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A confident telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
  • Must have an aptitude for quantitative techniques and an analytical approach to completing tasks.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with data.

Team Overview

 This role would be joining a team of 5, with two Directors, an Associate Director and an Analyst. We are responsible for delivering data analysis, research and support to the Office Agency teams for Greater London and the South East as well as the regional office markets in key cities across the UK.

Additional Responsibilities

There will be a need for some UK travel, which includes going to the major UK cities in England, Scotland and Wales.
