We are a boutique professional services firm located in Camden Town. Our team is dynamic, hardworking and dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients. We are looking to hire an energetic, organised and capable Operations Assistant to support the Practice Manager with the smooth running of the business and to assist the wider team.

The main objective of the position is to help manage the administrative and operational aspects of the business. To be successful in the role you will need to be a good multi-tasker, extremely organised, have excellent attention to detail, demonstrate initiative, have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent IT know-how and working knowledge of office equipment
  • Personable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Previous administrator experience with a customer management system would be advantageous
  • Website management experience would be beneficial

Tasks include:

  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Organise team calls and conference meetings.
  • Deal with queries on phone and emails.
  • Manage office projects.
  • Order stationery, business cards, toners/drums for printers, other office supplies.
  • Order lunch daily, groceries and coffee.
  • General office support, e.g. scanning, binding documents, downloading reports.
  • Handling IT issues with the internet and phones.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Organise couriers/post.
  • Maintain contact databases, i.e. staff and clients.
  • Business development/ marketing initiatives.

Ultimately, a successful Operations Assistant should help ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office. You will take on a varied role and be provided with ongoing support and training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is very organised and looking to develop in a friendly and supportive working environment.
