They are recruiting for a Business Development Manager, you will be:-

  • Covering across the London and M25 areas - going into the Redhill or Sevenoaks offices only when essential as this position will be based on the road
  • Growing the company’s service and maintenance contracts business through warm leads and your own hunting for clients
  • Helping to obtain more clients for commercial heating, air conditioning, and mechanical services as well and some fire and smoke prevention services
  • Calling and visiting prospective clients on your patch to get service and maintenance contracts signed
  • Preparing and presenting planned maintenance schedules to new clients

Skills needed to be a Business Development Manager:-

  • You can be living anywhere around the London or M25 area as this is where you will be growing the business
  • You need experience working as a relationship manager or business development manager
  • You need to have experience selling service and maintenance contracts in any HVAC, M&E, construction or engineering field
  • Having any sales or business development experience in fire and smoke prevention would be a massive advantage but is not essential
  • You need a good telephone manner and administration skills as well as brilliant face to face skills

Salary and Benefits of a Business Development Manager:-

  • 35-45k basic salary depending on experience
  • 10% of salary for commission (1% of the contract value of new contract)
  • 5k car allowance
  • 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays
