Actively seeking an enthusiastic Senior Site Manager to join a privately owned principal contractor on a permanent basis. This Principal contractor operates across the residential, student accommodation and commercial sector predominately. With over 300 employees and turnover of Circa 450million this growing business is looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their team for a commercial project in Bermondsey.
About the role of a Senior Site Manager
The Senior Site Manager candidate will be the Number two to the Project Manager whilst focusing on the project delivery of at 25million Commercial scheme. This project will involve part extension of steel frame and part refurbishment.
Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager
- Ensure the project is running to programme and is compliant with Health & Safety.
- Strong focus on Quality Assurance.
- Manage and Motivate the Site team and subcontractors
- Run weekly progress meetings and Health & Safety meetings
Requirements for the Senior Site Manager role
- Experience with commercial schemes circa 20million.
- Steel frame and refurbishment experience
- Number two experience on site delivery experience, seeing a project through from start to finish.
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management desired
- Leadership ability
