Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Voids and Disrepair Site Manager to oversee the management of void properties and address disrepair issues across our portfolio in Dalston. This role is pivotal in ensuring properties are efficiently maintained and returned to a habitable state promptly, while also managing tenant relationships and coordinating with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire void process from inspection to refurbishment, ensuring timely turnaround of properties.
  • Oversee disrepair claims, conducting thorough inspections and liaising with tenants to address issues effectively.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and maintenance teams to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and progress reports.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure all work meets legal and quality standards.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on void turnaround times, disrepair cases, and overall performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management, specifically with voids and disrepair processes.
  • Strong understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
