Equity Research Production Assistant £55,000 - £65,000City – 100% remote A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Investment Production Researcher to join a global Investment firm in the City. You will have proven experience in the timely production of research notes and acknowledge of PowerPoint and desktop publishing.  The Role:
  • Daily creation, formatting, production/publishing and distribution of research notes and other company internal and external documents within strict deadlines
  • Use appropriate desktop publishing software to format and finalise documents
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve problems and answer queries
  • Maintain mailing lists, entitlements databases and data feeds
  • Maintain FactSet and CRM databases; tagging, uploading research, creating records
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office; assist in training other users, manipulating templates
  • Ad-hoc project work and administration
  • Keeps abreast of available technology; understands applicability/limitations of technology; shows willingness to learn new technology
Essential requirements:
  • High work standards with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail (essential)
  • Proven experience with authoring tools / databases (preferred)
  • Knowledge of databases; Bloomberg, FactSet (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of editorial and desktop publishing best practices (advantageous)
  • Proven experience within financial services or desktop publishing
  • Advanced user of MS Office with the ability to quickly learn IT systems/software
  • Self-starter - must be organised and able to work independently and to tight deadlines
  • Fast learner with a flexible attitude
  • Strong communication skills
