Salt is working with one of the leading FMCG companies, specifically within their hair and skin care division, who are seeking a contract Demand Creation Lead to take responsibility for driving brand growth and building a global strategy to create consumer demand across multiple regions.
This role will focus on developing and executing a scalable demand creation model, partnering closely with business units and external partners to maximise brand impact and engagement.
A key aspect of this role involves leveraging consumer insights and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimise marketing initiatives, with the goal of increasing desirability and driving brand loyalty.
You'll work collaboratively with global marketing teams, external media and digital agencies, and cross-functional leaders to deliver a cohesive, data-driven demand creation strategy aligned with specific Jobs-to-Be-Done objectives.
This role requires a strong background in brand-building, a deep understanding of marketing insights, and exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Immediate start, 6 - 12 month contract
- Day rate depending on experience
- Ideally hybrid working in London, however fully remote possible for the right candidate
As a Demand Creation Lead, you will:
- Lead the global deployment of the demand creation model to refine and implement strategies that enhance brand desirability and visibility
- Develop a global deployment roadmap, collaborating with media and digital agencies to optimise engagement and streamline efforts
- Analyse consumer marketing insights to identify key weaknesses and improvement opportunities for brand growth at a global level
- Collaborate with business units to assess current measurement and insights gaps, providing customised solutions to boost the impact of demand creation initiatives
- Foster a collaborative environment with functional leads within the demand creation team and global marketing teams to ensure alignment with Jobs-to-Be-Done objectives
- Lead discussions with business unit teams to ensure the demand creation program is tailored to meet local and regional needs
- Apply strong analytical skills to measure and optimise end-to-end marketing performance, continually refining strategies based on data and consumer insights
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate desirability insights into engagement strategies, ensuring all demand creation efforts are backed by meaningful data
- Proactively drive brand growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities to elevate brand presence and engage target audiences
- Ensure all demand creation activities are designed to support business development and revenue growth goals, keeping a constant focus on brand scalability and reach
You will need:
- Extensive experience in a brand-building or demand creation role, preferably with a strong background in consumer marketing research and insights
- Proficiency in analysing market data and consumer insights to inform and drive strategic decisions
- Experience in consumer insights and identifying areas for brand improvement at a global level is highly preferred
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Demonstrated experience in driving brand growth and building brand presence, with a focus on scalability and revenue impact
