Acting as a Centre of Excellence to support all ALDI countries, the International Marketing team is on a mission to lead the development of a world class marketing, media and advertising operation within the ever-changing grocery sector.

Your new role:
- This role will be responsible for assessing and improving ALDI’s brand tracking data and giving it some global consistency
- The leading functional specialist in marketing insights internationally, this job will identify and implement ways to improve our knowledge about our customers, brand perception and campaign effectiveness across all countries.
- Working with all 10 diverse ALDI markets to help improve customer knowledge and insights and helping to identify the right solutions for each country according to its market maturity and budget
- Developing and implementing marketing insights best practice and sharing learnings across all markets.
- Working with the countries to identify opportunities for marketing research or testing and assessing the most appropriate methodologies in each case
- Managing and running new partner projects, working with multiple teams
- Scoping and leading marketing insights projects and identifying appropriate partners to work with
About you:
- Experience of working within a marketing insights role
- Brand tracking experience, working with Marketing Insights at agency or brand side and consumer marketing experience.
- Experience working in a client side or agency role
- Experience in a Global role or of working with multiple markets, such as the UK, US, Germany, Austria and Italy
- A fantastic eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver
- Good at assessing marketing techniques and methodologies
- Proactive, inquisitive and personable nature
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Ability to communicate to high level stakeholders and package up complex information in an understandable way
- Understanding of marketing principles, including advertising, promotion, pricing, sales data, media planning and buying

- Starting salary £61,065 from rising to £79,210
