Job Title: Service Design and Improvement Officer

Our client, a leading public sector organisation, is seeking a dedicated Service Design and Improvement Officer to spearhead transformative initiatives that align with strategic priorities and enhance service delivery, particular within public realm, leisure, waste and enforcement services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of service design projects, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and business intelligence.
- Identify, track, and analyse financial savings and investments for ongoing projects.
- Utilise specialist disciplines in service design, including business analysis and Lean techniques, to create effective service solutions.
- Document findings and create options for strategic improvements, while facilitating workshops to drive innovation across services.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand service needs and ensure user-centred design approaches.
Essential Skills:
Proven experience in strategy, planning, and governance within a public sector context.
Strong project management skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation, including business cases and progress reports.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on engaging and collaborating with diverse teams.
Ability to manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
