Are you an experienced Materials Controller within a Manufacturing/Materials space? We have a great opportunity working for one of London’s largest organisations as a Materials Controller.
Role overview:
A member of the Material Management team, providing inventory control and expediting for the relevant asset area ensuring all materials required for maintenance, Projects and related functions are delivered on time keeping with inventory levels within targets. Delivering in conjunction with Commercial and TfL Engineering to ensure the performance, safety and cost of the asset base are optimised from a whole life perspective.
Looking after materials for the Sub-assembly’s section.
Key information:
• Location: 2 Days Acton Depot (W3 8BZ)/ 3 Day Stratford/Southwark Office
• Workings hours: Monday- Thursday 7:30am – 3:30pm/Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
• Start date: ASAP.
• Day rate: £164 PAYE/ £222.52 Umbrella
• Contract duration: 31/08/2025
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Manufacturing/Materials background (desirable)
• Good knowledge of procurement and materials management systems including MRP/ERP
• Expediting
• Purchase order planning experience
• Proficiency in the use of IT applications, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
