About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management company, working on a prestigious, high-profile static site in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a variety of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and building services equipment within a state-of-the-art commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including VRVs, VRFs, split systems, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC and refrigeration systems efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and all relevant health and safety standards.
- Complete job sheets, risk assessments, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist with other building services maintenance tasks as required, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Work collaboratively with on-site teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver a high standard of service.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest professional standards at all times.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- F-Gas Category 1 (2079) - Essential
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent qualification - Essential
- Strong experience in maintaining and repairing VRVs, VRFs, chillers, split systems, AHUs, and FCUs.
- Experience working within a commercial building services environment (office buildings, data centres, hospitals, or similar).
