We are recruiting for a Generator Engineer based in Canning Town, London E16. Our client are an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance. They also offer a comprehensive outsourcing service to a whole range of clients.
As a Generator Engineer you will be responsible for all service and repairs on all site equipment ensuring excellent customer service and a high standard of serving and repairs.
The working hours are 47.5 hours per week; you will need to be on site ready to start work at 7.00am.
The mainstream of work is around maintaining a fleet of approx. 120 towable generators (6 KVA-200KVA) carrying out daily service maintenance and repair tasks. Training will be given to experienced Plant Engineers that have an interest in working with Generators.
You will be reporting to site office each morning for list of repairs required, along with completing pre-booked service work.
Job sheets and bookings are all communicated via tablet.
The candidate is required to have their own tools, but specialist tooling can be supplied if required i.e torque wrench and testing gauges.
There is a small workshop on site for the work, but an element of work will be outside on the site grounds.
There will be use of a company vehicle on site should you need to source parts, you may also be required to use this van for local jobs as and when required. This van will not be permitted for personal use.

Basic salary in region of 38-40k plus generous quarterly bonuses of up to 1k per quarter!
