Our client is one of the most well known brands in the built environment, over 80 MEP engineers in their London office also having offices all over the globe. They work on very complex landmark projects across sectors both In the UK and internationally. They are currently looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their team, you'll get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of schemes across countries.

You'll join our clients team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge design engineering services across a diverse range of projects. Collaborating with our Senior Engineers and Associates, you'll take ownership of creating sustainable and innovative design solutions for both our clients London-led and international projects.

Your role will be dynamic and varied, with a typical week involving:

  • Crafting detailed mechanical engineering designs for building services, and validating your work through precise hand calculations.
  • Preparing technical specifications, schedules, design development reports, and project correspondence.
  • Collaborating closely with coordinators and other engineering experts on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Represent our client meetings and engaging with other professionals and suppliers.
  • Taking charge of the design and delivery of engineering disciplines on multiple projects, guiding them to successful completion.
  • Adding value through effective project and financial management, working closely with your team.
  • Continuously developing your skills and knowledge while mentoring graduate engineers, interns, and trainees.

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

Whether you're an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer seeking the next step in your career, we expect you to bring:

  • Significant experience within an engineering consultancy.
  • A proven track record in project design, ideally from concept through to detailed stages.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and making amendments in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience using HVAC calculation software like IES.
  • A solid understanding of British standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to approach problem-solving proactively.
