What You Will Do:

  • Lead UK-based expert witness programs and commercial operations, setting a standard for excellence.
  • Manage extensive vehicle testing, analysis, and oversee multiple large-scale projects with a keen eye on budget and team performance.
  • Develop and mentor engineering teams in the UK, ensuring client work is executed to the highest standards.
  • Utilize deep expertise in diesel engine development, emission control systems, and calibration to drive project success.
  • Conduct comprehensive research, experiments, and analyses to inform field test work and regulatory guidance for clients.
  • Lead powertrain product development processes, employing industry-standard tools and methodologies for optimal outcomes.

What You Will Bring:

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer Status, preferred but not essential.
  • Have extensive experience with automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier, with a focus on powertrain controls, calibration and emission testing being able to designa nd set up test processes.
  • Expertise in hybrid, battery electric vehicle (BEV), or other zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
