If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a prestigious team in South East London.

Purpose of the role:

As a Project Engineer, you will be the backbone of our engineering efforts, providing invaluable support, knowledge, and expertise. You will be instrumental in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, including a significant infrastructure upgrade programme set for completion by March 2026.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering-related queries, design information, and coordination matters.
  • Liaise with Contractors, Designers, internal Project Managers, external Project Managers, and the Programme Manager.
  • Conduct investigations, surveys, and ensure seamless communication with the Facilities team.
  • Ensure all engineering services align with the organisation’s operational needs and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience as a Project Engineer with a mechanical bias in building, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors.
  • A solid understanding of Building Regulations, construction standards including CDM, COSHH, Manual Handling, and quality assurance.
  • A recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent, with qualifications to degree level or HNC.
  • Profound knowledge of common mechanical engineering infrastructure and systems.
