Overview
We are currently seeking a Principal Marine Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy at the forefront of the energy transition. With projects spanning Carbon Capture, Offshore and Onshore Developments, Hydrogen, and Renewables, this is a unique opportunity to shape complex and future-focused projects while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a multi-disciplinary offshore design team with a focus on marine systems

Define optimal technical solutions and lead the development of system concepts

Establish and manage internal workflows and project execution plans

Review and approve technical documentation for quality and compliance before release

Collaborate closely with internal and cross-functional project teams

Engage with contractors, vendors, and shipyards to review technical inputs

Ensure project delivery aligns with relevant marine and pipeline design standards and internal HSEQ requirements

Manage technical interfaces between marine systems, naval architecture, and structural disciplines
About You
-
Degree qualified in an engineering discipline

Proven experience in marine system design for offshore environments

Strong track record of delivering FEED and EPC phases on FPSO, floating facilities, or LNG projects

Familiar with cargo loading and offtake systems

Confident leading teams and contributing to multidisciplinary project environments

Strong understanding of class, flag, and international marine design codes and regulations
