An exciting Senior Mechanical Design opportunity has become available working at a London Medical Device start up. They are looking for an individual who is ready to hit the ground running bringing a Class 1 medical device to market.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

My client would like the successful candidate to be able to take immediate ownership on the mechanical design, development and management of the product with the support from the CTO. Therefore, having 5+ years’ experience working on medical devices is essential.

Other key skills required include:

-          5+ years medical device experience

-          Capturing design requirements for product development

-          CAD Design (Solidworks), tolerancing and drawing/print generation

-          Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements (US & EU/UK device classes, key electromechanical ISO Standards)

-          Ideally would have previous experience as a senior team member on a medical device

My client is also ideally looking for someone who is able to work onsite 4 days a week.
