Attention all Senior Mechanical Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join one of our leading clients in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in a senior position, with a strong background in mechanical engineering. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work up to three days a week from the London office.

Our client is a well-established building services consultancy, renowned for specialising in innovative design and manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept to production.

-Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated product designs.

-Perform mechanical analysis (stress, thermal, structural) to validate designs.

-Develop and review technical documentation, including design specs and testing protocols.

-Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality standards.

-Work with clients, suppliers, and manufacturers to meet project requirements.

Key Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

-Strong knowledge and experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).

-Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing, and design for construction.

-Proven ability to manage projects and work in multidisciplinary teams.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
