Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Venn Group is working with a leading Higher Education Institution to recruit for a Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer to complete planned and reactive maintenance across the sites

Salary: £40k (inclusive of on call bonus)

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 36 per week

Location: South East

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a customer focussed and efficient maintenance service in accordance with service level agreements
  • Prioritise workload successfully of both PPM and reactive works
  • Install, maintain, fault find and repair plumbing / mechanical equipment, sanitary ware and pipework, insuring minimal downtime
  • Give advice on remedial and corrective work as required
  • Maintain and test gas network and equipment (training provided)
  • Keep accurate records using the CAFM system
  • Monitor performance of building systems, improving and reprogramming to support energy and water savings

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Certificate in Health & Safety at work
  • Gas Safety qualification (ideal)
