Shift Team Lead Stratford, East London£45,000 - £47,000An exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to work for a leading FM service provider in a large commercial environment in the stratford, East London. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider on a renowned contract, the Shift Leader will work a Pitman Shift managing a team of Shift Engineers As part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site. The Shift Leader can be Electrically or Mechanically biased holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications whilst also being multi-skilled. Duties:

  • Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across HV and LV systems, UPS, Generators, associated plant and equipment, HVAC cooling / heating systems covering CRAC units.
  • Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Attending client meetings
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Willingness to become an HV Authorised Person HVAP
  • Critical site experience preferable (Data Centre or Banking Sites)
  • Client Management
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
Package:
  • £45,000 - £47,000
  • Pitman Shift ( 5 in 3 off, 3 in, 3 off following a 2-week rota plan.7am – 7pm days , 7pm – 7am nights)
