We are looking for a Toolmaker for a manufacturing company based in Beckton.

The company have been operating since 1967 and boasts of being the largest specialist company in the whole of the UK.

Job Role:

• Design and make tooling, jigs, fixtures etc. to fulfill in house or external orders
• Design manufacture and maintenance of tooling needed to fulfil orders.
• Liaise with customers, designers and third party contractors.
• Operating manual lathes, mills and grinding machines.
• Experienced operating Toolroom machinery
• Bench work
• To support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality and production output targets.

Skills Required:

• Experience using AutoCAD
• Ability to operate Tool room machinery.
• Experienced operating manual machines and grinding machines.
• Experience of manual milling machines would be beneficial but not essential.
• Flexible attitude.
• Ideally apprenticeship trained.
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiasm, loyalty, flexibility, the ability to work with team members and a caring attitude towards the job.
